UPCOMING SHOWS March Crucible Steel Gallery 2050 Bryant between 18th and 19th (in CELLspace ) March 2002 Women's History Month CITY ART back room Reception: March 1, Friday, 7-10pm CITY ART is located at Valencia between 19th and 20th. Hours are from Tuesdays through Sundays, 12 to 9pm, 415 970-9900. WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU? I generally make art as the inspiration strikes and I offer that art for sale. That's not the only way I can work: Commissions : I'm willing to work with your ideas to create art to your liking. I've painted an exercise machine ( the Beast ) and a canvas ( Tate and Shawna Gentrify the Mission ) after discussing themes with my patrons. Illustrations : I've done CD covers, I'm working on images for a travel guide, and I've done some journalistic type stuff too. Portraits : People are always interesting subjects for paintings. I can capture a likeness, and hopefully a little something more, from life or a photo. Events : Kids and adults get a kick out of having their portraits done. I'm not talking about caricatures - these are quick, 5-minute artistic sketches that you can take home. Classes : I am available for, and will be offering, multimedia drawing classes.
