I generally make art
as the inspiration strikes and I offer that art for sale. That's
not the only way I can work:
-
Commissions:
I'm willing to work with your ideas to create art to your liking.
I've painted an exercise machine (the Beast)
and a canvas (Tate and Shawna Gentrify the Mission) after
discussing themes with my patrons.
- Illustrations:
I've done CD covers, I'm working on images for a travel guide,
and I've done some
journalistic type stuff too.
- Portraits:
People are always interesting subjects for paintings. I can capture
a likeness, and hopefully a little something more, from life or
a photo.
- Events:
Kids and adults get a kick out of having their portraits done.
I'm not talking about caricatures - these are quick, 5-minute
artistic sketches that you can take home.
- Classes:
I am available for, and will be offering, multimedia drawing classes.
Make sure you're signed
up to get my e-mail updates and you'll be sure to find out
when these classes are scheduled.

Born
in West Virginia and raised in Long Island, Todd Berman
now lives in San Francisco with the Lovely Lauren 'L-boogie'
Girardin where he works as a substitute teacher with the
San Francisco Unified School District to pay the bills and
hang with the kids. With that extra time he paints in his
studio at the artists collective, CELLspace, or draws at
political actions for justice, peace, and democracy.
Todd
and Lauren are currently looking for an affordable one bedroom
(plus a painting nook) in well Munied regions of San Francisco.
