 This book is a fabulous tool to help families create traditions upon which many
  memories are built.  An important part of building strong families is developing
  memories as the authors say - "Wonderful memories and warm traditions tie us
  together with those we love."

     Favorite Features:

Each chapter talks about one of the seven ingredients for creating memories:
Love  - Value  - Delight  - Comfort  - Tradition  - Celebrating  - Remembrance
Excellent encouragement to build memories,
each chapter provides memory building activities.
Beautiful, colorful, realistic paintings illustrate book - excellent!
"Cherished Moments" at the end of each chapter give you space to write
 memories from your childhood as well as journal ways you can develop
memories for your own children.
"Patches . . . " ideas at the end of each chapter provide excellent ways you
can help your children develop memories.

Our lives are so busy - we just speed through and before we know it our kids are
grown - it goes so fast.  We need to slow down and take time to create memories to
build traditions on for an anchor not only for our own family, but for our children to
pass on to their children as well because as we do we will find that we are also
passing on a legacy of faith as well!  I highly recommend this resource for all
families as it will serve to help strengthen families.  Extremely well done Ruthann,

                     Excellent - Great baby shower gift - recipients love it!
  A friend gave me this book as a gift.  I absolutely love it.  It is not just a book for mothers and
             daughters, the "cutesie" & frilly things in life, but for anyone who has children or grandchildren.

I have 2 boys, 4 and 6, and we have found craft ideas in this book to do together. I also got a craft
      idea out of this book to do in my son's kindergarten class, went over great with 25 students!

The pictures and phrases are so heartwarming. I have given this book for baby showers, it goes
over well with everyone there asking where I had gotten it. One momma-to-be pulled me aside later
in private and sincerely thanked me. She told me that of her 3 showers, this book was the most
appreciated & personal gift that she had recieved.

I think if you are considering this book, you will be happy with it. While buying one for yourself,
remember to purchase extras for Mother's Day, Grandparent's Day, birthdays and baby showers.
