Michael Trew is a prolific composer, and has composed music for many different genres, including film, video, and dance.

His awards (BC Cultural Fund/Canada Council/Provincial scholarships) indicate that he is well respected in the academic world, but his works have touched many who do not fit into this category. Through his “Music Readings,” and “Soundscapes” for individuals, he has shown how music can be a healing force in the world today.

His Reflection series is a direct result of seeing the positive results music and frequency can have on all living beings, including plants and animals.
