Artist Biography Chuck was born in the Washington DC area and has lived in Southern California and Seattle area. In 1997 he moved to Lawrence Kansas. While his formal training is in oil on canvas he is experimenting with the properties of Acrylic on Glass. Using the acrylic medium on glass allows for very vivid colors and expression. He enjoys the interesting problems created by painting in reverse and on a relatively non-porous surface. Another area that is being explored is texture on canvas. He is using many different substances to yield interesting results and evoke emotion. As of late Chuck is experimenting with mixed media including Western and Eastern watercolor techniques.
