About
Personal Info About Me Name: Chrystal McLaughlin Art Category: I have an extensive backround in the applied arts. I have worked in various materials including ceramics, metals, fibers, acrylic, plaster, wax and various other materials. I hve casted in many different methods including slip, plaster and lost wax. I have a backround in the fine arts also, but I enjoy working in the applied arts much more. My Education: I graduated from Manalapan High School (Manalapan, N.J.) in 1998. I then went to Brookdale Community College (Lincroft, N.J.) for a year as an art major to work on my portfolio. Now, I am currently attening Towson University (Towson, MD) as an Art Education major and Psychology minor. My Interests and Hobbies: In High School I was an active member of both the National Art Honor Society(N.A.H.S.) and the Adolescent Drug and Alcohol Prevention Team (A.D.A.P.T). I was also an athlete on the school's Soccer(F,JV), Field Hockey(JV,V) and Track and Field (JV, JV)(Sprint and Long Jump) teams. Over the summer when I am home, I work at Moms Away From Mom, a child day care center where I help care for and provide activites for children in agas ranging from toddlers to adolecents. My Geographic Location: During the academic school year I am attend Towson University which is about 20 minutes north of Baltimore, MD.
