Born in the 20th century in Buenos Aires. From early childhood I displayed artistic abilities by drawing on every piece of paper available, by carving on my mothers soaps and by modeling animals and figurines in clay and plasticine. Art and Numbers have been my life long passion from the theory to the practice. Studied art in various forms both in my native country as well as in my adopted Australia. Encouraged by my husband Tibor Murany I joined various courses and workshops in Blue Mountains and Sydney. My inspiration is drawn from every day situations, immediate surroundings and the various cultures I came in contact with through travelling. I have been interested in creating abstract figurines with a sense of movement and in some cases to provide them with a touch of function. 2003- after a few years of dedicating most of my energy to my professional career, being encouraged by friends I joined Tibor in his annual exhibition at Gallery Lane. Lifelong ambition...to continue to experiment with mixed media and sculpture. |
