About
WELCOME TO SHADOW CREEK STUDIO Showcasing the paintings of BARBARA BYRAM I can't remember a time when I didn't loose myself in creating. In fact, as a young child I would make animal sculptures with my Cheerio's. I've graduated to a more permanent medium now (oil paint) but I still love to get my hands in my work. I hope you will enjoy viewing my work as much as I love creating it. Thank-you for visiting. - Barbara P/S This is a portrait of my baby - Maggie. "Painting is a series of corrections; when there are no more to be done, you're finished." -- Kevin MacPherson "The beauty and diversity of nature is the inspiration for my art." My painting style changes with my subject matter - my landscapes being more impressionistic than my animals, which are usually handled in a more detailed manner. I have worked in many different media, but for me nothing compares with the soft, buttery consistancy of oil colors.
