About
My passion as a watercolorist is portraits and florals. Light and emotion are the two key elements that drive my work, both with portraits and florals. Detail is another focus of my portraits and florals. I concentrate on ensuring that my portrait and floral forms accurately represent the subject. At the same time, I strive to allow the unique characteristics of the watercolor pigments to express themselves freely. Combining these elements is the constant challenge that I thrive on as a watercolorist. My work is displayed and sold in my home area of East Central Illinois.
