Home is where my heart is; I am a home body. I work at home and I like my surroundings to be comfortable and inviting. My house is full of big sofas, books, candles --- all very colorful, like my paintings.

I work in Acrylics when I paint in my studio. I often paint outdoors when the weather is good, then I use oils. I work very fast, starting with a thumbnail sketch in a notebook. Then I jump right in and sketch full size in paint on the canvas. I use pre-stretched canvases that have been washed with red.
