Description of my methods: I create photographic compositions that are digitally mastered and then meticulously printed. I exclusively uses giclée printing on watercolor rather than photographic paper in order to more closely approximate the intimate feel of painting that photography often lacks. The giclée prints were produced using the finest archival papers and inks. In order to enhance the longevity of these prints, it is recommended that they be displayed in a setting so as to avoid direct sunlight and extremes of temperature and humidity. The print should remain behind glass, in the frame provided. With proper care, expected life should exceed fifty years. The work itself: Much of my work could be considered hyper-realism while some is of a more abstract nature. My abstract pieces are an attempt to look beneath the surface, to examine the essence and "what if" of life, to be both evocative and illuminative at the same time. In my hyper-realistic pieces I delves into the nature of space and an underlying vision of the common exposed as uncommon. All of my work is accompanied by avid attention to detail and devotion to creating authentic interpretations of reality.
