Classical Guitar player born in Brazilia, capital of Brazil, Alvaro Henrique took his first classes when he was fourteen, at Espaco Sonoro Academia de Musica e Artes, with Zilmar Gustavo. Since then he has presented himself frequently.
He has also studied the eletric guitar with Marco Franca and singing with Vanessa Bertolini.
In 1999 he entered on the Bacharelado em Violao Erudito course (similar to the BA in Classical Guitar Performance) at the Universidade de Brasilia, having classes with Eustaquio Grilo.

He has participated on courses and masterclasses with great guitar players such as Julio Ribeiro, Pedro Martelli, Henrique Pinto, Eduardo Fleury, Breno Chaves, Paulo Amorim, Gordon O'Brien. He has already performed in Brasilia, Goiania and Sao Paulo.
Besides peforming solo, he has also taught music, been a Big Band and Choir member, performed in chamber music groups (guitar duo, guitar trio, quintet of strings, guitar and soprano)
