Ted's Gallery of Art Page #1

This is a collection of art I've done for publication on the Internet.

Everything shown here has been painted digitally with an electronic brush directly on the computer screen, and is NOT a digitally altered photograph.

Copies of these images may be obtained on canvas, or paper.

Self Portrait of TedSelf portrait in case you were wondering what the artist looks like.

Audrey Audrey's image
This image took considerably longer as I began with a light wash of a variety of colors as the base, then built up and overlapped a similar variety of transparencies. Details were perfected at the end.

One of my favourite granddaughters.

Little Stephanie Grandma's helper
I painted this in my sketch book in 1996 and rather liked it. Decided to try to paint it digitally using some pale tones for highlights.

Camron Cameron's shirt and hair tones were altered with the RGB color bar and with transparency settings varied; skin done with Pantone Process color.

Hedy Lamarr This was done to test the Paintshop Pro 5 Beta which I had just downloaded. I wanted to try the ease of its use against the Corel program I was accustomed to. In this first test, I found the PSP 5 Beta program much more user friendly than with Corel, but I missed having the ease in changing color and brush size. The new program gave me a much larger image on the screen and sure makes zooming in and out a lot easier with only the use of the keyboard's + and - keys.
This was a black and white picture done by John Corkery, USA, for a Corel ad for their Draw 7.
