About the Artist
(or Life in Sandyland)

As you can see, I like to have fun with
my art. I have been creating since the
age of two, when I did my first installation
piece called "Toothpaste Squeezed All Over
The Bathroom". The work dealt with concepts
of truth and beauty, but my audience
(i.e. parents) failed to grasp the importance
of this stunning work.

In the ensuing years, I mastered chalk,
crayons, finger paints, Play-Doh, and
collage, and was exhibiting regularly
on the kitchen fridge.

Intoxicated by my early successes,
I tackled higher education and
in 1981 got my BFA from CSU.
Since then, I have spent my days
pushing around colored liquids with
hairs attached to the end of a stick.
And when I'm not doing that, I ride
my trusty steed Fifi over the
Colorado plains.
