I begin with a grid
 

I paint background sky, the awning and the background bushes

   
I added reflective light to the awning


I painted in the awning supports and the patio brickwork and added some buildings to the background

 

I selected the people and then cut out photos of fabric and assembled the bridal gown
 

At this point I drew in the people with a light wash and then painted them in

added my signature and...
