1st level II ultrasound

3nd appt. - w/ Dr. Yuen

11 weeks

2nd level II u/s at CPMC w/ Dr. James Goldberg


12 weeks - 2nd trimester begins

1st appt. w/ peri Dr. Per Sandberg at CPMC


March 23 - 24 weeks - 3rd trimester begins; the week after which they can survive; daily monitoring starts soon thereafter (or hospital stay) (NTS - non-stress test - once or twice daily)

April 20 - 28 weeks

April 27 - 29 weeks

May 4 - 30 weeks - I may be checking into the hospital for constant monitoring

May 11 - 31 weeks

May 18 - 32 weeks - 7 months - after this chances of surviving and being normal are very good; their lungs should be developed enough so that they don't have to be on ventilators

May 25 - 33 weeks

June 1 - 34 weeks

June 8 - 35 weeks - maximum time they can stay in the womb; if they stay this long, they can go home with the mother; otherwise they stay in the hospital

July 13 - 40 weeks - full term
