From a Drop of Water II Charcoal on Paper
This is the second painting in a series that starts with a closeup of a drop of water, and each consecutive picture shows a view from farther away. This second view shows a stream of water flowing down someone's back. The drawing is a study for a series of oil paintings.

This drawing expresses the life and expression contained in trees.

Brainwash charcoal on paper 18" x 24"
This drawing represents all the elements of society that force stereotypes upon women, veering them from their true individuality. I created some ambiguity as to whether the woman is looking out a window from a room in which she is locked, being bombarded by images, or whether she is looking into a locked room, purging herself of the stereotypes.

Loneliness charcoal on paper 24" x 18"
I liked the starkness of the two chairs together in the corner of a room. The chairs are almost personified; they have a relationship. Yet they are empty and devoid of humans to sit upon them. This contrast adds to the bleakness.
