She pursued her art interest in college and received a bachelor's degree in graphic design in 1977. After a stint in the "traditional" workforce, in 1992 she started Arcadia Art Studio in order to pursue her art full-time.
		In addition to her painting, graphic design and calligraphy projects, Michele is also very active in local arts groups, and a popular instructor of adult art students.
